What M&M African Kitchen & Bar collects when you order, book, or text us — and the one promise we make about your phone number.
We do not sell your number
M&M African Kitchen & Bar does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS/text messaging consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes — not now, not ever. Your phone number is used only to reach you about your own order, catering request, reservation, or inquiry, and to run the text program described on our SMS terms page.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, and email address you give us on an order, catering, reservation, or performer/inquiry form.
- Order and reservation details: items ordered, pickup or delivery window, delivery address if you request delivery, party size, date and time, and any notes you add.
- Payment information: handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. M&M does not receive or store your card number.
- Basic site usage: which pages you visit and which links you click, through Google Analytics (see Cookies & analytics below).
Why we collect it, and how long we keep it
We use this information to take and prepare your order, hold your reservation, confirm payment, coordinate delivery, and follow up if something needs your attention — a balance due, a reservation confirmation, or a reminder. Order and reservation records are kept in M&M's own records for as long as needed for bookkeeping, tax, and dispute purposes. We never hold your card number ourselves — that stays with Stripe.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it takes to run the restaurant. This is operational sharing, not marketing sharing — it is never a sale, rental, or list transfer.
- Stripe — processes payments for orders, catering deposits, and reservation deposits.
- Uber Direct — arranges delivery when you choose a delivery order; your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with Uber Direct solely to complete that delivery.
- Our email provider — sends order, reservation, and payment confirmation emails.
- Our SMS/text messaging provider — sends the text messages described in our SMS program, for guests who opt in.
- Internal scheduling tools (Google Sheets and Google Calendar) — hold M&M's own order, reservation, and scheduling records, restricted to restaurant staff.
We do not sell information to data brokers or advertisers, and we do not share it with affiliates for their own marketing.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to see which pages and links get used, so we know what to improve — page views, clicks on calls, emails, directions, and form submissions. We do not use Analytics, or any other tool, to sell or share your information for advertising.
Text messages: the short version
- Texts may cover orders, pickup, catering, events, reservations, or support.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent is not required to buy food, book catering, or use M&M services.
- M&M does not sell or share mobile opt-in information for marketing.

Your choices
Reply STOP to any M&M text to opt out of texts at any time. To ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email support@mmafricankitchen.com or call (945) 327-0366. We confirm it is really you before making changes, and handle requests as soon as we reasonably can.
